Being a woman in marketing and business, you have to be enormously resilient and energetic
One of the highlights of writing the Wonder Women book was interviewing and getting to know more about Edwina Dunn – what a remarkable Wonder Woman she is! In the book, there is an insightful interview with her, an inspiring story about her career, and she was kind enough to write the foreword for the book. She’s also a panelist on our launch event with The Marketing Society on 4th March – https://lnkd.in/eNYUieG
I think we could say she is one of our biggest supporters!
During our interview we talked about her rise to success, the importance of company culture, loyalty, knowing customers better than anyone else, having big ideas, how trying and failing is liberating, the power of two, proving people wrong, and why it’s OK for women to be ambitious. A truly inspiring read.
What’s also remarkable about Edwina is that she is the founder of The Female Lead, a campaign that celebrates women’s stories, and showcases the lesser-known successes of women, in order to support and encourage the next generation. The Female Lead’s social media following has grown exponentially in 2020; Linkedin: 1.5 million; Instagram: 1.1 million; Facebook: 267,000; Twitter: 88,600; Tiktok: 57,000. Women who were previously invisible are now in full view.
